Developing Organisational Digital Capabilities for Third Social Sector Leaders

We invite you to the training that will take place on 17 and 18 October at the ABD headquarters in Barcelona


ABD invites you to participate in the training «Developing Organisational Digital Capabilities for Third Social Sector Leaders – GOVERNANCE AND STRATEGY FOR IMPACT» that we will host on October 17th and 18th at our headquarters in Barcelona, within the framework of the European project EU3Digital.

It is a training course in English designed to host 10 representatives from third sector organizations, social enterprises and public administration with experience in leadership and team management, entity strategy, etc. We want to invite people and organizations that are driving changes and projects related to digital transformation with the aim of generating a space for the exchange of shared knowledge.

In addition, the training will offer the opportunity to create synergies and a new network with organizations and experts from Portugal, Croatia, the UK and the Netherlands.

The training will address the following key topics over the two days:

  • Strategic principles for impact
  • Organizational assessment
  • Governance models to generate impact
  • Digitalization: Risks, Efficiency and Scalability
  • Performance management
  • Impact measurement and accountability
  • Digital tools in the daily work in an organization

And will be given by:

  • Carlos Azevedo, Chairman of the Board and CEO of IES-Social Business School and former Chairman of the Board and founder of ESLIDER-PORTUGAL, the first Portuguese network of civil society leaders and social enterprises.
  • Carol Jacklin Jarvis, Senior Lecturer in Management at The Open University
  • Gerlinde Schmidt, Euclid Network
  • Ademar Aguiar, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto

Training details

The aim of the EU3Digital project (2021-2023), coordinated by Eslider (PT) in collaboration with Euclid Network (NT), ABD (SP), The Open University (UK), Oporto University (PT) and Volunteer Center Osijek (CR) is to gather and develop learning resources for Third Social Sector organizations and social enterprises to increase the digital competences of individuals and structures. The outcomes of EU3Digital serve to support the advancement of their digital strategies, engage with existing software and digital tools as well as generate training and shared learning spaces.
